The Peacock Montessori

Mrs. Subha Babu is our director and lead teacher with ten-plus years of teaching experience. 

Mrs. Subha is a certified Montessori teacher and started working as a Montessori school teacher at "Montessori One" in Westlake Village, California. After moving to Richmond, she worked in various schools (Kinder Care, Hilltop & West  End Montessori).  

She comes with rich teaching experience both at Montessori schools and pre-schools that helps to bring the best out of Montessori methodology and also leverage others' styles.

Teaching is her passion, and her experience with the different types of education models was a driving force to start her school. Every school she worked in was tremendous and had value. She wanted to bring a blend of it. The Peacock Montessori was established with her vision and has completed its first year. She feels proud and responsible for grooming the small feet to be ready for the next level with confidence. 

Mrs. Subha Babu also possesses a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™. It is based on a core set of competency standards, that guide early cares professionals as they work toward becoming qualified teachers of young children.

She has undergone Child development, music, and movement courses at UCLA. Certified in First Aid and CPR.

Mrs. Subha Babu has a passion for dance. She is a classical dancer and a choreographer.

She believes individual attention is the prime importance for children. Our school provides personal focus, understands child interest, and guides the little ones.
